Whenever everybody attacked Minister Smriti Irani at the lowest level of decency for linking her educational qualification and many other including personal diatribes, personally I rejected them for the intellectual xenophobia of elite academic supremacists and their biases. My experience and knowledge may be limited, but within that limited capacity I never heard any institution or degree that enabled anybody as leader anywhere in the world or in history. We have ample proof in front of us in Indian politics to that effect. Kamaraj alone is enough to debunk such futile argument. Also considering she is a women in a patriarchal society and worse in a patriarchal party she deserved a level playing field, a "reservation" as a support to a women in Indian politics. The arrogance, many accuse of her also will have to be discounted as the survival instinct of a women among tyrant men (read orthodox MPs of Hindutva right, who can stoop to the level of counting used condoms). Many senior academics I spoke to have confirmed that unlike many of her predecessors, she is among the very few ministers who remains always well prepared while coming to meetings. Also it is the fact that she was the first BJP politician who stood up against Gujarat riots and who has never been with RSS brand of schools.
Unfortunately her performance yesterday in parliament was turned out to be an unmaking of her or at least one see the beginning of it. Looks like she began to believe the current student crisis across universities are created to personally attack her!
Dear minister, you can not trivialise Rohit and Kanhaiya issues to your personal victimhood. It is much deeper and larger socio political issue of this country than your ministership, your government or Rohit and Kanhaiya themselves.
If Rohit issue represents the social malice of Indian society that many elite of this country including your party's ideological mentors RSS and others want to preserve and its relevance in a functional democracy, Kanhaiya represents the role of liberal freedom and citizenship again in a 21st century democracy.
The political democracy remains the biggest achievement of humanity, that resists the draconian argument of "survival of the fittest" and reassures the weakest of the weak to stand up among the might. This feminine philosophy, the motherly love is that Rohit and Kanhaiya, the weakest of the weak, the marginalised seek from the constitution of this country and its upholders the minister like you. That is exactly the patriarchal society including the regressive orthodox forces from your party and others are fighting against.
Sadly yesterday making the issue personal in parliament you gave away Rohit and Kanhaiya and their herculean battle of honour and give in for those regressive forces who wants crush social justice for their personal privileges . Now the entire discourse will get trivialised about you and their aspersions on your character. The regressive forces and their patriarchal arguments will continue to remain dominant and Rohit's and Kanhaiya's blood will continue to spill over the streets.
There was this famous story about Akbar. One day Akbar came to court and announced to his elite advisors and ministers that in the morning somebody slapped him on his face and requested the advisors to suggest a suitable punishment. The entire court went into rage with anger and shouted
" stone him to death, crush him under elephant, slash him into pieces, throw him to tigers cage....how dare somebody to slap the emperor..."
But Akbar noted that even as entire court went into rage with anger and animated yelling and shouting only Birbal remained silent and smiling!.
Akbar asked him " doesn't he has any feeling for his emperor? how can he remain silent and smiling when his emperor is slapped?" As soon as he finished, entire court became one chorus and they shouted " traitor ...traitor".
But Birbal stood his ground and smilingly replied the emperor " your honour, if you ask me what punishment you should give that slapper, I would recommend " a tight hug and kiss"
While the entire court remained stunned to hear his suggestion, emperor asked an explanation from him for such a extreme suggestion. To that Birbal politely replied " who on earth, forget slapping, even dare to touch an emperor other than his own little children or grand children he love. It is not important what is done or said, but what is important for "rajneeti" is to consider who did it or said it. So the culprit of slapping needs a tight hug and kiss"
Akbar hugged Birbal for his wisdom.
My humble submission to the "anti national chorus groups, for a second sit back and think like Birbal do you use a hammer to tame a butterfly? and also isn't it the Law of the land a wisdom not a whip ?"
Do not pitch "uniformed patriotism" against "civilian patriotism" : this is a deadly game, don't forget we both are only Indians and we the civilians do love this country and sacrifice as much as any men in Uniform:
-----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Last few weeks, like many ordinary Indians, I felt disgustive by this diabolical comparison by many both from government and uniform belittling ordinary Indian's love and patriotism against men in Uniform.
I am not belittling the sacrifice of our military men and their patriotism, but politely wants to point it out that we are no less patriotic than our men in Uniform and not less sacrificing than our men in Uniform.
Farmers of this country who are left to lurk in this country to fate (as much as 254000 farmers have sacrificed ( committed suicide owing to debt incurred to sustain their farms) their lives to sustain the food supply of this country during last 30 and odd years) are no less patriotic and sacrificial than anyone in this country.
More than three million adivasis and villagers have been uprooted and displaced for the economic development of this country during the last 60 and odd year for mining , dam, nuclear plants, and industry are no less sacrificial than the men in Uniform.
Millions of educated Indians who had to leave behind their loved ones, their home for an alien foreign land and within this country to earn and support their family back in India/ states and its economic prosperity are no less patriotic or sacrificial than any men in Uniform.
Millions of activists and politicians who in spite of getting dishonor for everything they do, who did not destroy democratic fabric of this country and whatever progress we made so far : from a poor developing nation to an economic power of reckoning , are no less patriotic and sacrificial than any men in uniform
The sweeper who clean and maintain our dirty streets and drainages making this nation serine and hygienic are no less patriotic or sacrificial than any men in uniform.
Tata, Birla, Ambani, Adani and millions of other businessmen who sweat out in thick and thin of economic conundrums of global scale to sustain the economy of this country are no less patriotic or sacrificial than any men in uniform.
Doctors, Journalists, academics, engineers, artists, writers, crafmen, recyclers, technicians, bearcats, clerks and all those millions of ordinary mothers, fathers, brother and sisters who dedicate their lives to sustain socio-cultural values and their profession on good faith are also no less patriotic or sacrificial than any men in Uniform.
You may say they are doing it for their life and earning, so do the men in Uniform. If you say our men in uniform work in difficult terrain fighting terrorists and enemy nations, please do not forget ordinary citizen of this country inhabit those places with equal difficulty to make it Indian. If our men in uniform lost their life in combat operations, the count of civilian who lost life in the hands of terrorists are also stand equally or at times more in tally.
So let us stop this superior patriotism vs inferior patriotism business. We all love our country and are also ever ready to do anything for it. Also do not forget this men in uniform did not come from heaven, it is the same inferior patriotic civilian parents are the one who offered them to this nation.
So let us stop this nonsense of “superior Uniform patriotism” vs “inferior civilian patriotism” business. This discourse can degenerate very badly, especially when you pitch them against each other. It will be a tragedy. Many things might come out in the process including the discrepancy of officers death vs jawan’s, Army men vs BSF/ CRPF soldiers / ordinary police men so on and so forth and that would not be a good scenario for this country and its existence.
We ordinary citizen’s have never belittled our soldier’s sacrifice or patriotism, so please do not belittle ordinary Indian’s love for the country as well. We all do our duty towards our nation : that is it
These custodians of "Nationalism" are funny, they are telling all the "Anti-nationals" not to celebrate Kanhaiya's release on bail since it is only an "interim bail" where the enquiry is only at a nascent stage as judge says and interestingly in the same breath they argue " the same interim order on a nascent stage of criminal enquiry but proves Kanhaiya's crime ! "
Guys get some life smile emoticon
Prime minister Modi's rural and farmer focussed budget, if implemented can get you all the vote BJP needed to be in power. This nationalism business of blood thirsty neo-rich urban middle class psychopaths is not going to get you any vote in the coming elections. In all these states, majority are the rural and farmer voters and unfortunately their children are the one who is facing the brunt of your weird nationalism onslaught.
Your tax paid money, are you sure?
Of late many people have started remembering and reminding students about tax payer's money and the student's responsibility towards it.
My dear friends, please do not confuse. Kanhaiya kind of leaders are not produced by your tax paid money. They are produced by your tax evasions and your crony capitalism that empties their parents hard earned little savings from the public banks ( to the tune of 8 lakh crore high net worth bad loans and also by your hoarded income that grows hundreds of thousands of times out of it).
They are produced when their merit do not guarantee them any future and your nepotism guarantees your loved ones a secured living without any qualification.
They rise again and again when you want to destroy the social affirmative action of reservation in basic jobs and you "reserve" the top level jobs and director board of public limited companies to your children, however disqualified they are.
Also in the same tax payer's logic, they are not preaching to us from "bought time slots" of prime time news channels to that citizen like us whose taxes are automatically deducted from salary have paid to subscribe. Unlike you, who are there on tv screens only to protect your vested business interest or page 3 novelty, that not even your children want to watch, these student leaders are there because they are the children of 90% people of this country and they talk about their issues of life that they want watch.
And most importantly, Kanhaiya and Rohit Vemula kind of leaders are emerged in universities because they study meticulously and meritoriously. That is the reason they are in JNU sort of research school on Merit and not on any Capitation fees or NRI management quota.
Please remember this is only a making of a beginning. Imagine all those eightly and odd percentage of rural India study and understand the knowledge and wisdom that are systematically denied to them all their lives and to their forefathers start emerge in every Indian universities ?.
If you are finding this beginning itself is unsettling you, think about the future when they emerge everywhere in this country smile emoticon
Remember, this is only the beginning  smile emoticon
I always find the right wing arguments all over the world from trump to RSS fringe without any rational merit, below the belt aggressive, personally abusive and with threat of physical violence !!
Any explanations smile emoticon
I find the left and liberals attack on this 15 year old kid from Punjab who has challenged Kanhaiya for a public debate, as obnoxious and highly objectionable act. She did not instigate anyone for a physical violence on Kanhaiya, all that she did was to call him for an intellectual debate. She may have her opinion and political bias. Within the logic of public morality and ethical practice in politics that everyone supported Kanhaiya, you can accept it or reject it, that is it. No one has a right to abuse this kid with her photo on it. Especially considering she is only a child, this act of humiliating her on social media with her photo is an untenable act.

Right wing idea of women : an excerpt from Samjcousins writing

Those who are finding it difficult to understand RSS position on Women please read the following text by samuelcousins. All one need to do is while reading change fascist with hindutva and Mussolini with RSS....is it only a mere coincidence? smile emoticon
"Women in fascist society were to be ‘submissive women and strong mothers’. At school and in fascist youth organisations this role was highly emphasised to young girls. For Mussolini, the ideal woman would be a peasant, living in the countryside, happy to raise her large family according to traditional values – much like his own wife, Rachele.
After the reconciliation between the church and the fascist regime, the aims and policies of Mussolini towards the family were strongly reinforced by Catholic teachings on issues such as motherhood, birth control and abortion. In 1930 Pope Pius XI issued a papal encyclical, Casti Conubi, to re-state the importance of parental authority and discipline in the home.
Fascist propaganda liked to denounce the slim, sophisticated modern woman, and idealised the rounded, maternal, submissive wife and mother, but many Italian women wanted to look like fashion models and films stars they saw at the cinema in magazines. Usually from America, this fuelled part of the fascist denouncement of the United States. Many Italian women were unwilling to accept their appointed position in society in the fascist regime.
Mussolini’s main motivation behind his attitude towards women was to ensure the increased production of babies. In his Italy, he pictured a vast Italian Empire, with a vast populace. The boys would grow up into fascist warriors and the girls would grow up to be fascist mothers.
To try and ensure that this happened, Mussolini introduced the ‘Battle for Births’ which was a similar initiative to the likes of his other ‘economic battles’ except this one was more social, although still heavily economical as well.
The ‘Battle’ was launched in 1925; the ONMI (National Organisation for Maternity and Infants) was set up to give advice to pre-natal mothers and help abandoned children. Seeming well intentioned, this organisation was set up primarily for the prevention of birth control and abortions, and in 1926 the laws against abortion were strengthened. Later that year a tax was introduced on unmarried men. It was not until 1927 that Mussolini officially announced his aims of his battle to increase the birth rate.

practice

These days, artists talking about their own work are becoming an epidemic everywhere . This becomes all the more humorous, when artists who just got some commercial breakthrough from some gallery with four or five years of practice coming and giving presentation lectures about their work in galleries and art collectives.
Guys, please have a life.
Please practice and share them. if not in gallery ( if you have any artistic positions) share them in social networks, public spaces or anywhere you feel deem fit and if not for appreciation, at least for public rejection to develop a criticality, artistic position and the " aesthetics" for your work, or else do workshops for art lovers on art practice, before you go around 'talk' about it.
Like Rothko once said, the price for one of his work is "57 years", the value of an art work lies in its criticality not in your net working.

Is Mr. Modi is reinventing as prime minister of a developing country?

Must say, signs are on the horizon friend. If one consider the change of development man of capitalists to socialist leader of developing country, the tactical shift in budget with lasting consequences, one must acknowledge the changes that are shaping up in BJP government.
His talk in today's IMF conclave certainly confirms this doubt. If one track the changes that are taking place during the last couple of months, one will certainly have to assume that these shifts in positions are not entirely focused on upcoming election or his image from suit-boot babu. In fact these changes goes far beyond those little nitty-gritty
Following are my conspiracy theories
1. In JNU-Kanhaiya issue, the most vociferous media support was poured in from NDTV, CNN-IBN and India Today. Interestingly NDTV has a major share holding by Adani, a known Modi protege. CNN-IBN, belongs to Ambani, need no exploration. India Today has never been an anti BJP in recent times. Then one wonders, what is cooking up bhai? Is it JNU issue being used by Mr. Modi to tame the hydra-headed monster RSS and its fringe!! Considering the damage done to his image by RSS and its fringe and his well known nature towards his opponents, one should not doubt that possibility. Or is it the industry already has started putting back their eggs on congress basket ?
2.Iin this year's budget, there is only very few support extended to corporates as against rural sector and that too at the cost of attracting much displeasure from industry! He is now talking about farmers, poor and social justice. Also talks abut the injustice of the inference " what corporate gets is incentive and farmer gets is subsidy" . Of course one should not forget "Gurumurthy" lead desi economic brigade of RSS and their position.
3. Today in his talk, he says boundaries can not be rigid and has to be flexible and porous. I do not know what will our Khattarpanthi RSS will now do !
4. From congress mukht bharat, now he has started extensively quoting congress leaders in his talk!
5.The day after madam Smriti Irani humiliates AMU vice chancellor, he meets him and shares that photographs in his FB page prominently then he goes on to meet Bishop in Kerala and post that photo where he holds that old man's hand while walking. Imagine the same Modi ddi not even want to accept the Muslim cap couple of years back!
6. During the last year and half in every news channel we find one of those RSS guy always present in discussions along with BJP spokesperson, as if they do not trust the BJP spokesperson to put across the RSS point of view?
7. And most importantly , he has now changed his looks from the corporate aggressive CEO looks to a pious philosopher looks! More over these days, he does not talk about possibilities and projections but talks about problems of the nation, its poor and needy. Further he emphasis the need for working towards its solutions collectively !! wow!
Is it a visual deceptions or a cooked up conspiracy theory, only the days to come will tell us the reality. But one thing for sure, we can believe our democracy. It has the capacity to reform every one in this country, however powerful they may be. lLke the old hindi film song " Bhagwan ki ghar der hein andher nahi hein" smile emoticon
abandoned factory

Narendra Raghunath updated his cover photo.
abandoned road side wall

Golwalkar and democracy

if one wonders why do these Hindutva fundamentalists have complete disregard for democratic principle and values, one must accept that one is living in a fools paradise believing that they actually desire democracy!. RSS philosophical mentor Late Golwalkar makes it ample clear in his write up "Final refuge of mankind," what RSS consider the ideal governance for this country : A dictatorial monarchy, of course headed by only a man smile emoticon
" This is the reason why in our national tradition, we did not bother much about the external form of the government but concentrated upon the moulding of man as the chief guiding factor in all our systems. Many forms were tried here right from republic to monarchy. And we find that the monarchy, which bred such tyranny and gave rise to bloody revolutions in the West, was found to be a highly beneficial institution continuing for thousands of years showering peace and prosperity on the whole of our people, with the spirit of freedom alive in every sphere of life."

Owaisi and RSS

Owaisi and RSS and its fringes are the same side of the boundary: dangerous, manipulative, shrewd and cunning power hungry of society : who do not believe what they preach. They will destroy the fragile fabric of this country for their UP political aspirations.

Sufi conclave

It is wonderful to see Prime minister addressing international Sufi conference yesterday. Perhaps the political compulsions of Indian democracy is transforming a political prime minister who does not want to engage with opposition leaders, opposite ideas and conflicting interests with a belief of aggression as the way forward to stifle every question to a statesman who is willing to compromise, negotiate, give up, forego and embrace tolerance. This act of transformation is irreversible and certainly going to cost him dearly among his sophisticated fundamentalist followers and his ideological masters RSS, whose vision could not ever go beyond the binary : surrender without questioning or be the enemy.
This cadre mind set has failed communist party in India and many other from growing beyond their pocket citadels in a country like ours, where million people have million faiths. Perhaps this is exactly the reason a non cadre party like Congress party, inspite of their repeated disastrous performance and checkered history but bounces back again and again to rule this country. Congress party has members who are extreme than left wing naxalites to the other extreme of right winger RSS or industrialists as their leaders and followers. If at all BJP has to survive beyond droughts, economic slow down and political defeats in Punjab, UP, Kerala and Bengal, the party has to reinvent themselves this art of congress: a collective representation of India : from left to right and poor to rich. Perhaps this is the right time to reinvent that position, since Rahul Gandhi's congress with its attack on RSS is leaving a big gap between Centre to right position. But post UP, Bengal, Kerala and Punjab elections he may be able to bridge that gap.
Probably Mr. Modi's attempt to reinvent this stature of statesman may be born out of it. But this is an irreversible position. So let us hope he will be able to prevail upon his fundamentalist mentor and its die hard followers.
But it is found strange that he went on talking about islamic religion in a Sufi conclave! Also his talk went on reiterating religion as paramount in human society. Fact is Sufism came into existence as spiritual subversion of stifling Islamic and Hindu religion as a humane protest. Sufism rejects fundamentalism and the sectarian ethos of religion for the wilderness of raw human existence and its love. They poetically attack the very foundation on these religions and its ethos are built including Islam and Hinduism to reiterate the profound faith of humanity : being humane.

a cartoon

a cartoon I did sometime during Mr. Vajpayee's time. RSS and its hydra headed subsidiary fringes did not gave him a peace of mind and brought the bad name for him. Nothing seems to have changed in BJP's new avatar as well. Same stories, same method and same extra constitutional authority of RSS and its mad house morons as fringe. They made sure Vajpayee did not come back to power and they will make sure Modi doesn't come back to power. We can trust them more than the capacity of congress or the entire opposition parties smile emoticon (this is the copy of that cartoon)

The new narrative from BJP :Right vs Left binary (national vs antinationals) - Read Indian version of the US model republican vs democrat

Continuing the conspiracy series- taking the artistic liberty of being subversive, allow me to think a little subversively about current Indian politics, especially the ruling BJP first.

For a longtime BJP and its ideological mentor – RSS  were keen  to replace our parliamentary election by an American model presidential election. During the last NDA regime, hawkish politician of that time, Advani as a deputy prime minister,  once  even tried to initiate a debate on the same. Although no one gave much  importance to the same at that point of time, finds new voice   after running the successful american model campaign during  2014 national election.  Is it BJP trying to build a national political discourse of right vs left to further that agenda?  Strangely the evidences are proving to be positive!.

In spite of winning a brute majority in parliament in 2014 and running a  Guinness book effort of "missed call" party membership campaign, unfortunately as of now  BJP could not build the party infrastructure at booth level like its competitors Congress or any other regional parties. Other than the elected representatives and their hand picked henchmen, one would find it difficult to locate a local leader or a party office in your vicinity.

Tragedy of this "party unto himself" situation is, making or unmaking of this local elected representative effectively also means the making or unmaking the party.  Since there are no party infrastructure like party office and permanent office bearers, in long run these custodians of party will start smarting the "party themselves" trait- a potential danger for any political party on long run especially for a centralised political structure like BJP. When one considers the reality that  in Indian politics,  a long run means only five years, one will understand this danger in a better perspective.

Bihar election did expose this fault line of BJP. In spite of putting up an year long carpet bombing by BJP stalwarts and its centralised political management,  a four month old political agreement by otherwise arch rivals of Bihar politics  had mustered the strength to finish BJP in its prestigious political battle. The only difference between BJP and its rivals were its local political infrastructure.  While BJP's opponents had booth level permanent offices, office bearers  and party members, BJP on the other hand had  only its political leaders and its Guinness book  party membership followers( not even members!). Their  convenient policy of considering RSS as political infrastructure had disastrously boomeranged in Bihar. One should not forget the fact that in a Hindu majority country, RSS still remains as an unease in the political structure than a bankable infrastructure and its membership is still remain less than one percentage of population.

Despite this reality calling, BJP and its president seems to be convinced that the role of party is only about winning election and believes that it can be resurrected at every election! Considering the existence of huge political think tank for BJP, who are the best “pundits” of political wheel and deal, one should not consider this trait as an accident. This had to be a long drawn political strategy. Reading the recent news clip in Times of India about the growing shakhas of RSS under Modi regime only reinforces this argument. Here are few of my conspiracy suggestions

1. BJP does not want a booth level party infrastructure, BJP wants mob.

Caste angle: The ideological mentor of BJP : the upper caste driven organisation can never be inclusive even at their expansion. In the past, they  founded many - now they call as fringe- organisations like Bajrang dal, VHP, vanvasi kalyan  ashram and so on and so forth to include the marginalised and caste hindu "avarnas" to maintain the "purity" of the core organisation RSS and its think tanks- Vivekananda international foundation, India foundation (one exception MJ Akbar also member of this), forum for integrated national security and few others (estimated to be eight in number).

A booth level political infrastructure for a political party in India would mean that the marginalised and caste hindu "avarnas" also getting an upper hand in political decisions above these RSS "savarna" infrastructures. RSS would at any cost want to avoid such a scenario and  would want to limit these sections of people in their fringe organisations that are not directly connected to electoral politics. At the most what  they can  do is vote mobilization, terrorizing, rioting and do all those dirty jobs  these “elite  savarana manipulators”  wants them to impliment. Very few would rise above the ranks from these fringe "avarna"  Hindus in BJP or if at all any one do rise above the ranks with their exceptional leadership qualities, they would make sure that  it will only be through the blessings of a RSS "savarna" leader.  In totality for RSS, the booth level political infrastructure for BJP that represents electoral power politics of RSS is an antithesis to its "savarna" agenda. So they will do every possible tricks of “chanakya neeti” to sabotage such a scenario.

The recent national vs antinational business should be seen in this backdrop, since these manufactured agendas with no roots whatsoever are better suited to RSS lead party to oppress those genuine concerns of the country like prolonged agrarian crisis, employment, education and health. Raising these issues would also mean raising rural leadership that are mostly driven by caste “avarna” Hindus and other backward castes or people from other religion.  So these  historically “Manipulative”,  “savarna”  think tanks, who had always  used OBC and Dalit warriors to protect their interest in the name of “ patriotism” continue to do the same trick even today at the beginning of 21st century. For them all those who are better suited for their agenda remains “nationalists” and all those who are against are “ anti nationals”: a clear binary “either with us or you are the enemy” declaration.

One should not confuse this trait with even “ hitler’s Nazi” or mussolini’s fascism, since this Indian phenomena is much complex than a race or religion. In India,  this savarna syndrome is much more crude and cunning than those nazis and fascists. As a matter of fact t unlike those race supremacists,  Indian caste supremacy  is not even worried about the religion or culture, considering within the religion, these self appointed custodians of Indian culture are only interested to elevate their position by  controlling  the entire “Gods” of the nation; the last resort of  a helpless poor. This is completely different from race dominance argument. From the days of Vedas, one would find in the history of Hinduism and it’s philosophical schools, a tireless effort and fight    to question or neutralize this cacophony or anti thesis to humanity.  Unfortunately time and again using the control over the “God” through temples and rituals ( one should not forget, most of the Gods worshiped today are caste  Hindu Gods appropriated by these section of society. Except Vishnu no other Vedic Gods find place in popular Hindu belief system now. ) they are able to threaten the caste Hindus at individual level to mobilise  a collective frenzy for their advantage. Ram and Ram’s temple symbolizes this cunning agenda and so is “Bharat mata”.

Savarna Hindus will remain the beneficiary and avarna hindus can become the martyr or foot soldier for its upkeep!. The difference is the RSS  savarna ideologues and VHP rogues.

So BJP and its mentor, RSS does not want a booth level party infrastructure for BJP, they just want their foot soldier rogue “avarna mob”.

Unfortunately BJP and its ideologues do not realize that technology accentuated 21st century has changed India much to their discomfurt.  Through thousands of centuries, the “Savarna” class of the hindu society could successfully stifle the rise of “Avarna” hindu’s by denying the access to education. But the post independent and especially in a technology accentuated 21st century, India is changing that demography much faster than anyone has imagined. Post Rohit Vehmula suicide unrest in Indian campuses signifies that change. India is going to witness more and  more assertive, not much religious (who can not be controlled by the colonization of the God alone) educated and demanding non savarna Indians occupying visibly and physically the privileges and positions once occupied by the savarna Hindus using their access to education and knowledge.

So it is time for RSS and BJP to think effectiveness of their age old trick in Indian politics and their own relevance if they continued to practice it. Their holy myths of religion will not be able to stand the academic critique and its rational objective from educated minds. Even if they unleash a panic onslaught on Universities after Universities- especially Humanities universities, will not make any impact on Indian society. The number of educated marginalized with rational critical minds are emerging across the nation and in front of them this holy religious myths business will stand the chance only for a mockery of intelligence. Ambedkar is only a beginning. Bihar has shown the result. The emerging educated aspirational India does not want your unholy “ holy myths”, rather India prefers rationality of politics: a practicing politician at booth level who would not preach them nationalism but helps them find solutions to their day to day living. Do not confuse, its not mob who voted Modi to power, it was an aspirational young Indian, who has seen the other side of the world on TV and internet did vote for Mr.Modi.
As a matter of act that young Indian did not even vote for Mr. Modi, they in fact were casting their vote for those life that their tv and internet shown them as possible: a life they believe is their right- the right of an educated, informed Indian.
