there are no innocent victims

Although notions of tragedy beyond statistical count by perceived value of humanity on case to case basis and according to the priority of a selective few as a prerogative is a questionable perspective, It is sad that terror is finding more and more places to manifest its devastating consequences to humanity across the world.
Considering the victims have no stake or role to play in these acts of crime, many may want to insinuate the citizen, who takes the brunt of these violent acts of terror against state or society as innocent bystanders. I must say, no innocent is ever getting killed in these terror acts, as they are only paying the price for their ignominious act of being only a bystander for all these violent acts that are shaping up around the world and not raising a single question.
When we live in our hallucinated world of comfort, where thing can be bought, experienced and enjoyed without evaluating its cost or questioning its source and most importantly ignoring the politics of the 'comfort', the price is bound to be this tragedy: our lives or lives of our beloveds.
We believe or are assured by vested interests in 21st century that politics is the bad word for our civility and it is better to be outsourced to those bad guys of society: who are corruptible, conning and are in connivance with religious and corporate agenda. We are reminded again and again that do not politicise terror attacks, religious fanaticism, cultural fundamentalism, social intolerance whenever and wherever such tragedies takes place by media and education. Also if any one does raise the issue of politics in these acts of violence, we are reminded to insinuate them as activists of irrelevance of if you are in India, abuse them "sikular".
If we don't understand the politics of these non weapon manufacturing countries and mercenaries unleashing violent terror using the weapons sourced from somewhere and at times terrorising the same countries from where these weapons are sourced, we will never understand the cost of our comfort and we will never understand tragedy of our loved one's death at the hands of these criminals. We will never understand the energy politics and its geo political implications, we will never understand the Wahabi terror tentacles and corporate interest in it and above all we will never understand the difference between bombing of our neighbourhood and bombing Afghanistan, Iraq or Syria the countries we have no political, geographical or emotional connections.
Tragically this moronic ignorance is what unfortunately is being perceived as the next generation's bright future by the depoliticised "innocence" of ours.
During the last few decades, West has depoliticised the academics to extend that it became an exclusive subject and thereby insulated a majority from its purview in their attempt to subvert the dissent. Dissent is a conscious decision of an informed mind and when it becomes collective conscious it precipitates the much needed political consequences that are difficult to be tamed by force or fear. State is scared of it, so are vested interests, religion, terror groups and corporates. As more and more media and educational institutions in Europe and other parts of world became corporatised or fund dependant, depoliticisation of academic became the biggest priority and the target. States across the world encourages it and facilitate it by projecting the issue of financial viability of institutional maintenance!
Unfortunate consequence of this unethical act of perjury towards education is evident in Europe and rest of the world, where societies are reduced to mere individuals or mob. There are no collective conscience of humanity or its dissent exist any more that state or vested interests have to be worried about. Acts of Individual or mob are only a law and order problem, an administrative convenience to state and that are of no political consequence. Also unlike a concious collective like a political union/party, an individual or a mob can be easily instigated and constituted through manipulation of emotion and faith towards any rational objective.
If one looks at the rise of sectarian fundamentalism across the world with the rise of globalised capitalistic economy, the above mentioned tragedy can be understood in a better perspective. As projected in capitalism, in our elevated notion of individuality, its possibilities and fictionalised rights in a depoliticised society that precede the collective ownership or cohesive existence, we become the victim of an imaginary comfort and liberty that are easily terrorised by the state and vested interest. We become victims of our fear for the "other"- other religion, other community, other language, other economic model, other way of living or the other one's dominance without realising the idea of the "other"- the outcome of the idea "exclusivity and monopoly" or the sense of elevated notions of individuality indoctrinated by the capitalism.
During the last few years we have seen many social uprising across the world from China, USA, Europe and Middle east that have dissipated without any transformative value or impact either on politics or society. Although the uprisings have emanated from many fundamental human crisis but unfortunately almost all of them were some mob response from a depoliticised society that a state could easily reduce into a law and order problem and that they successfully executed as well.
So if there are those economic scandals that are taking away our precious savings, the corporate and political corruptions fail our country and steal our employment, Media fail to bridge the lacuna of information deception in governance, law of the land fail to deliver justice, administration fail to contain the price rise, religious fundamentalists curtail our freedom of expression and way of life, terrorists and criminals unleash violence and fear in our lives, we can not claim to be the previlaged innocent victims. Most of these things would not have taken place, if we are politically conscious and questioning.
Dissent, the conscious decision of an informed mind is the fundamental duty of citizen in Democracy. We can not outsource our vigilance to a selected politically conscious few to safe guard our safety and right to remain the pretend innocent. ( in India worst scenario is after outsourcing we also abuse those selected politically conscious few as "sikular" or activists of irrelevance ). Otherwise these organised states, vested interests, religious fundamentalists and their terror outfits are going to terrorise us, exploit us and kill us according to their agenda and at their will.
Let us understand, the victims of Paris massacre are not the victims of terror but are the outcome of the absence of political dissent exist in our society. Therefor there are no innocent victims in this world. We are all pray of our own making with our own political disinterest.
May those poor souls massacred on the streets of Paris rest in peace.
